How Candidates Will Be Selected

Local Language Test:

Candidates who show their 10th or 12th mark sheet/certificate proving they studied the chosen local language do not need to take the local language test.

For other candidates, the local language test will be done as part of the selection. It will happen when the candidate goes for Document Verification at the Bank.

Candidates who do not pass this test will not be hired as apprentices.

Health and fitness check

Eligibility → Who Can Apply

The list of selected candidates will be made for each state based on the marks or percentage scored in 12th (HSC/10+2) or Diploma exam, from highest to lowest.

If two or more candidates have the same percentage, they will be ranked in the merit list based on their age, with the older candidate placed higher.

The minimum passing marks will be 60%, and for SC / ST / PwBD candidates, it will be 55% in the 12th (HSC/10+2) or Diploma exam.

Any decimal in percentage will not be rounded up. For example, 59.99% will be counted as less than 60% and 54.99% as less than 55%, so the candidate will not be eligible for selection.

The merit list will be made only from the details given by the candidate in the online form. If any mistake or wrong information is found during document verification, the application will be rejected immediately.
