Required Qualifications - Vehicle Mechanic: Passed 10th standard from a recognized board or its equivalent, and must hold a certificate in Motor Vehicle Mechanic / Diesel Mechanic / Heat Engine trade.
- MSW (Painter): 10th pass from a recognized board or its equivalent, along with a Painter trade certificate from ITI / Industrial Trade Certificate / NCVT / SCVT.
- MSW (DES): Passed Matriculation or its equivalent from a recognized board, with a certificate in Mechanic Motor/Vehicles/Tractors from ITI / Industrial Trade Certificate / NCVT / SCVT.

Age Criteria (as of 24-11-2025) Vehicle Mechanic - Lower Age Limit: 18 Years
- Upper Age Limit: 27 Years
- Age relaxation will be provided as per the applicable regulations.
MSW (Painter), MSW (DES) - Relaxation in age is allowed as per existing guidelines.

Application Process - The full advertisement is available on the Border Roads Organisation (BRO) website at www.bro.gov.in.
- Candidates interested in applying for the above posts are advised to check the detailed advertisement for eligibility and other information.
- Applications must be filled out in English or Hindi only.
- No candidate should send more than one application for the same post. If multiple applications are received from one candidate for the same post, only the latest application will be accepted.
- Candidates must attach a recent photograph (taken within one month of the advertisement date) to the application form and Admit Card.
- Candidates should have at least 8 identical recent photographs with them.
- Candidates are advised to read the general instructions carefully as given in Advt No 02/2025. Each candidate should thoroughly check all the rules in the advertisement to confirm they meet the eligibility criteria for the post they are applying for, including age and educational qualifications as on the closing date.
