- Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe (SC/ST) candidates: 5
years age relaxation is allowed.
- Other Backward Class (OBC - Non-creamy layer): 3 years age
relaxation is allowed.
- Persons with Benchmark Disability: 10 years age relaxation (15
years for SC/ST and 13 years for OBC candidates).

Eligibility
Criteria
|
|
- Electrician (Highly Skilled-II): Passed 10+2 and have a
certificate from a recognized ITI in the related trade or grade.
- Electrician (Power) (Highly Skilled-II): Passed 10+2 with a
certificate from a recognized ITI in the related trade or grade. OR must be
Armed Forces Personnel or Ex-serviceman from the same trade with at least
Grade I.
- Telecom Mechanic (Highly Skilled-II): Passed 10+2 and ITI
certificate in the related trade or grade. OR Armed Forces
Personnel/Ex-serviceman from the same trade with minimum Grade I.
- Engineering Equipment Mechanic (Highly Skilled-II): Passed
10+2 with ITI certificate in Motor Mechanic trade. OR B.Sc. with Physics,
Chemistry, and Math. OR Armed Forces Personnel/Ex-serviceman in the same
trade with Grade I.
- Welder (Skilled): ITI certificate in welding trade. OR Armed
Forces Personnel/Ex-serviceman in the same trade with Grade I.
- Storekeeper: Passed 12th from a recognized Board or
University.
- Lower Division Clerk (LDC): Passed 12th from a recognized
Board or University.
- Fireman: Passed 10th (Matriculation) or equivalent.
- Cook: Passed
10th or equivalent.
- Tradesman Mate: Passed 10th from a recognized board or
equivalent.
- Washerman: Passed 10th or equivalent from a recognized
board.
- Vehicle Mechanic (AFV) (Highly Skilled-II): Passed 10+2 and
have an ITI certificate in Motor Mechanic trade.
- Telephone Operator Grade-II: Passed 10th or equivalent with
compulsory subject.
- Machinist (Skilled):
ITI certificate in Machinist or Turner or Millwright or Precision Grinder
trade.
- Fitter (Skilled): ITI certificate in the related trade or
grade.
- Tin and Copper Smith (Skilled): ITI certificate in the related
trade or grade. OR Armed Forces Personnel/Ex-serviceman from the same
trade with Grade I.

Selection
Process
|
|
- A written test will be held for all trades. The selection committee
has the right to set minimum qualifying marks for any or all parts of the
test.
- Candidates who pass the written test and are shortlisted in the merit
list will be called for a skill test and physical test (if applicable).
- Skill and physical tests (if required) will only be qualifying in
nature. Candidates who do not pass these tests will not be considered for
selection.
- There will be no re-evaluation or re-checking of the written test. Any
requests in this regard will not be accepted. The decision of the appointing
authority about selection or rejection will be final.
- The written test will be held offline using an Optical Mark
Recognition (OMR) sheet and will be of objective type. It will carry 150
marks with a negative marking of 0.25 marks for every wrong answer.
- Candidates must bring their own pen, pencil, and clipboard for the
written exam. The exam duration will be two hours.
- The question paper will be for the posts of Fireman, Electrician
(Highly Skilled-II), Electrician (Power) (Highly Skilled-I), Telecom Mechanic
(Highly Skilled-I), Engineering Equipment Mechanic (Highly Skilled-I),
Vehicle Mechanic (Armoured Fighting Vehicle) (Highly Skilled-II), Machinist
(Skilled), Fitter (Skilled), Tin and Copper Smith (Skilled), Upholster
(Skilled), and Welder (Skilled).

How
to Apply
|
|
- Candidates should send their application, typed on A4 size paper, as
per the format given in the advertisement. Along with the application, they
must include a self-addressed envelope (size 10.5 cm x 25 cm) with a Rs. 5/-
postal stamp. The application must be properly sealed in an envelope and sent
to the address given for the post applied for, using Ordinary Post.
- Candidates must clearly write "Application For The Post Of
____" on the top of the envelope.
- Applicants should make sure to mention a valid email ID and an
Aadhaar-linked mobile number in the application form.
- The last date to receive applications is 21 days (including Sundays
and holidays) from the date this advertisement appears in the Employment
News. For candidates from Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram,
Manipur, Nagaland, Tripura, Sikkim, Ladakh (J&K), Lahaul and Spiti
Districts, Pangi Sub-Division of Chamba (HP), Andaman & Nicobar Islands,
and Lakshadweep — the deadline is 28 days.
- The date this notice is first published in the Employment News will
be used to calculate the 21/28 days. If the last date falls on a holiday, the
next working day will be considered the closing date.
