Qualifications
- Scientist/Engineer ‘SC’:
M.E/M.Tech/M.Sc (Engg) or an equivalent postgraduate degree in Machine
Design with at least 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA on a 10-point
scale, along with a qualifying degree of B.E/B.Tech/B.Sc (Engg) or
equivalent in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 65% marks or 6.84
CGPA.
- Technical Assistant: First
Class Diploma in the relevant Engineering field from a recognized University
or Institution.
- Scientific Assistant: First
Class B.Sc. with Chemistry as the main subject from a recognized
University/Institution. OR First Class Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts (Photography)
or Visual Arts (Cinematography) from a recognized
University/Institution.
- Library Assistant ‘A’: First
Class Graduation in any stream.
- Radiographer-A: First Class Diploma
in Radiography of at least two years from a recognized College/Institution
approved by State/Central Government.
- Technician ‘B’: Passed SSLC/SSC
with ITI/NTC/NAC qualification.
- Draughtsman ‘B’: Passed SSLC/SSC
with ITI/NTC/NAC in Draughtsman (Civil) Trade from NCVT.
- Cook: Passed SSLC/SSC/Matric/10th

Process
of Selection
Selection Process for
Scientist/Engineer ‘SC’:
- The selection will include a
Written Test and an Interview.
- The Written Test will assess
both theoretical and practical knowledge of the candidate, covering all parts
of the syllabus.
- Candidates will be
shortlisted for the Interview based on their Written Test results, usually in
a 1:5 ratio, with at least 10 candidates per category for the available
posts.
- Final selection will be
based on 50% marks from the Written Test and 50% from the Interview.
Selection Process for
Technical Assistant, Scientific Assistant, Library Assistant ‘A’, Technician
‘B’, and Draughtsman ‘B’:
- The Written Test will
evaluate both theoretical and practical knowledge, covering the full
syllabus.
- Candidates will be
shortlisted for the Skill Test based on their Written Test scores, in a 1:5
ratio per category with a minimum of 10 candidates.
- Candidates will be called in
groups for the Skill Test according to their ranking compared to the
number of vacancies.
Selection Process for Nurse
‘B’, Radiographer-A & Cook:
- The Written Test will assess
both theoretical and practical knowledge, covering the full syllabus.
- Candidates will be
shortlisted for the Skill Test based on their Written Test scores.
- The Skill Test will be on a
‘pass/fail’ basis only; scores from the Skill Test will not affect the final
selection.
- Final selection will be
based on the Written Test marks among candidates who pass the Skill
Test.
- Candidates will be ranked
according to their Written Test scores, subject to the number of vacancies.
If there is a tie in scores, academic marks of the required qualification
will decide the ranking.
Selection Process for
Fireman ‘A’:
- Selection includes a Written
Test, Physical Efficiency Test (PET), and Detailed Medical Examination
(DME).
- The Physical Efficiency Test
is a ‘pass/fail’ test, and its marks will not count toward final
selection.
- Final selection depends on
the Written Test marks of candidates who pass both PET and DME.
- If there is a tie in Written
Test marks, academic scores of the essential qualification will be used to
break the tie.
- Selection Process for Light
Vehicle Driver ‘A’:
- Selection includes a Written
Test and a Skill Test.
- The Skill Test is on a
‘pass/fail’ basis only; its marks will not influence final selection.

Procedure
- The online registration
portal will be available on the SDSC SHAR website from 16.10.2025 (10:00
AM) to 14.11.2025 (5:00 PM).
- After submitting the
application, candidates will receive a Registration Number for future use. A
valid Email ID and Mobile Number must be correctly provided during the
application process.
- The application, along with
the required payment, must be submitted before the deadline
(14.11.2025).
- All future updates and
communication will be made only through the registered Email ID or the SDSC
SHAR website.
- Applicants are advised to
regularly check their email and the SDSC SHAR website for any updates. SDSC
SHAR will not be held responsible for missed communications, and no requests
