Eligibility
Rules
- The applicant must have at least an MBBS degree from a university
recognized by the Medical Council of India in the Allopathic
system of medicine.
- Candidates with a postgraduate degree in General Medicine are also
eligible to apply for this post.
- The applicant must have at least 2 years of experience practicing
Allopathic medicine in a hospital or clinic as a Medical Practitioner
after qualifying.
- The applicant must have their clinic or home located within 10-15
km of the Bank’s dispensaries.
Pay or Earnings
- During the contract period, a payment of Rs. 1,000/- per hour
will be given. From the monthly payment, Rs. 1,000/- per month will be
for travel expenses, and Rs. 1,000/- per month will be paid to cover mobile phone charges.
- No additional benefits or perks will be given to the BMC hired
on a contract basis.
- The job is only on a contract basis. No retirement benefits like Pension,
Provident Fund, or Gratuity will be provided for this engagement.
- No leave or extra benefits/facilities will be given. If you
work at a dispensary on a public holiday or holiday, you will be paid Rs.
1,000 per hour as compensation.

How candidates will be selected
- The Bank will hold interviews and verify documents for candidates who
are shortlisted
- The Bank has the right to increase the minimum eligibility criteria
to reduce the number of candidates called for the interview.
- The Bank’s decision on this matter will be final. Simply meeting the
eligibility criteria does not guarantee that the candidate will be called
for an interview.
- Except for candidates called for interview, the Bank will not
communicate with applicants who are found ineligible or not selected
for the interview.
- Candidates who are shortlisted after document check and interview
will have to go through a medical test, as per the rules, before being
considered for appointment as Medical Consultant (MC) on contract.
- The applicant will have to pay for the medical tests or
examination process.
