Process of Selection
- Phase I: Written Exam – Candidates MUST attend the written exam on
the date and place given in their admit card (which will be issued
separately). The written exam carries 100% weightage.
- To move forward in the selection, candidates must score at least 50%
for UR/EWS and 45% for SC/ST/OBC (NCL)/PWD in reserved
posts.
- The exam will have 125 multiple-choice questions, each worth
one mark, lasting 2.5 hours.
- There is NO negative marking, so no marks will be lost for
wrong answers.
- PWD candidates get an extra 50 minutes to complete the
test.
- Phase II: Document Verification – Based on the written exam results
and available posts, RITES Ltd will check the documents submitted by
candidates during online application.

- Before applying, candidates should make sure they fulfill the
necessary requirements for the job.
- Interested candidates who meet the eligibility criteria must apply
online using the registration form available in the Career section of the RITES
website, http://www.rites.com.
- When submitting the online form, a ‘Registration No.’ will be
generated at the top of the form. Keep this number safe for future logins and
use it for all communications with RITES Ltd.
- Candidates should carefully and accurately fill in all required
information while completing the application.
- They should also ensure they have all necessary documents ready, as
originals may be needed later in the selection process if called.
- After entering all details in the “Fill/Modify Application Form”
section, candidates must upload the required documents in the “Upload
Document” section.
