Process of Selection
- Phase I: Written Test – Candidates must attend the written test on
the date and place mentioned in their admit card (which will be issued
separately).
- The written test carries 100% weightage in the selection
process.
- UR/EWS candidates need at least 50% marks to qualify; SC/ST/OBC
(NCL)/PWD candidates need 45% for reserved posts.
- The test will have 125 multiple-choice questions, each worth one
mark, lasting 2.5 hours.
- There is no negative marking; no marks will be lost for wrong
answers.
- PWD candidates get an extra 50 minutes as compensatory time.
- Phase II: Document Verification – Based on written test results
and available vacancies, documents submitted by candidates during application
will be checked by RITES Ltd.
- Only shortlisted candidates after document scrutiny will move
forward.
- The final selection depends on performance in the written test and
document verification.

rites.com.
- When submitting the application, a ‘Registration No.’ will be
generated and shown at the top of the form—write down this number for future
use.
- Use the Registration No. for logging in and all communications
with RITES Ltd.
- Candidates should fill out the application form carefully and
provide all required information correctly.
- Make sure to have all necessary documents ready, as original
copies may be asked for later during selection.
- After entering all details in the “Fill/Modify Application Form”
section, candidates must upload the required documents.
- Upload documents must be clear and correct in the “Upload
Document” section.
- Double-check all information and documents before final
submission.
- Submit the application only after confirming all details and
documents are complete and accurate.
