Eligibility Requirements
Educational Qualification (Required): A B.Tech degree in Civil Engineering or an equivalent qualification.   Work Experience After Qualification: At least 25 years of experience after qualification in planning, execution, and management of infrastructure projects. This includes work on Metro Rail, Urban Rail, or MRTS projects in Metro Rail Corporations, CPSEs/PSUs, or Central and State Government organizations. Out of the total experience, a minimum of 8 years must be in Metro planning and construction.   Minimum Eligibility (Current Grade/Service) – for serving officials including deputation cases: Holding a post in an equivalent grade such as Level-15 (CDA) or E-9 (IDA); or Holding a Level-14 (CDA) post with at least 25 years of Group ‘A’ service; or Holding an IDA E-8 post (₹1,20,000–₹2,80,000) with a minimum of 4 years of service in that grade.    Physical and Medical Fitness: The applicant must be physically and medically fit. If selected, the candidate must undergo a medical examination as per the organization’s rules.
Salary / Pay Details
Pay Scale: IDA E-9, ranging from ₹1,50,000 to ₹3,00,000 per month. Salary and allowances will be paid according to the current IDA pay scale rules.
