Requirements
for Eligibility.
- Qualifications: Must have completed 10th Standard
(S.S.C./Matriculation) from the relevant State/UT. The
candidate should be an undergraduate as of January 1, 2026. Graduates
and those with higher qualifications are not eligible to apply.
- Essential Qualifications: Candidates in the Ex-servicemen category must have
completed 10th Standard (S.S.C./Matriculation) and
served at least 15 years in the defense, provided they
have not graduated outside the Armed Forces. the defense,

- Desirable: Candidates applying to a recruiting office should be
proficient in the local language (able to read, write, speak, and
understand) of the State/UT associated with that office.
- Experience: Candidates with work experience in the Reserve Bank
of India may count up to a maximum of

such experience.
Salary/Stipend
- Selected candidates will receive a starting
basic salary of ₹24,250/- each month within the pay scale
of ₹24,250 – 840 (4) – 27,610 – 980 (3) – 30,550 – 1,200 (3) –
34,150 – 1,620 (2) – 37,390 – 1,990 (4) – 45,350 – 2,700 (2) – 50,750 –
2,800 (1) – 53,550, along with any other allowances that may
apply from time to time. Currently, the initial gross monthly earnings
(excluding HRA) for Office Attendants are about ₹46,029/-. They
will also receive a House Rent Allowance of 15% of
their pay if they do not live in bank-provided housing.
Age
Limit (as of 01-01-2026)
- Relaxation in the Upper Age Limit: The upper age
limit will be relaxed as follows:
- Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Tribe (SC / ST):
By 5 years, meaning up to 30 years
- Other Backward Classes (OBC): By 3 years, meaning up
to 28 years
- Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD): By 10
years for General/EWS, 13 years for OBC,
and 15 years for SC/ST
- Ex-Servicemen: Equal to the duration of service in
the Armed Forces plus an additional 3 years, with a
maximum age of 50 years
- Widows, divorced women, or women separated by law who
are not remarried: Up to 35 years (40 years for SC/ST)
- Candidates with work experience in the Reserve Bank
of India: Equal to the number of years of experience, with a maximum
of 3 years.

Recruitment
Procedure
- Selection will be done through an Online Test and a
Language Proficiency Test (LPT).
- Online Test (Multiple Choice):
- Reasoning: 30 questions, 30 marks
- General English: 30 questions, 30 marks
- General Awareness: 30 questions, 30 marks
- Numerical Ability: 30 questions, 30 marks
- Total: 120 questions, 120 marks,
with a duration of 90 minutes. There will be negative
marking for incorrect answers in the Online Test, with 1/4th of
the marks deducted for each wrong response. Candidates must qualify in
each section of the online test individually.
Language Proficiency Test (LPT):
Candidates who are provisionally
shortlisted from the online test will need to take a language proficiency
test (LPT). The LPT will be qualifying and will be held in the Official/Local
Language(s) of the respective State. Candidates who do not demonstrate
proficiency in the Official/Local Language as per the LPT will be
disqualified.

Process
- Before applying online, candidates should scan their
photo and signature, ensuring both meet the necessary specifications
outlined in the Guidelines for photograph and signature scanning and
uploading.
- To make the online payment of application fees/intimation
charges, candidates should have the required details/documents ready. A
valid personal email ID must be maintained, remaining active until the
results are announced.

Provisional Registration Number and Password, which will be displayed on
the screen.
