Eligibility Criteria
|
|
Essential Qualification I:
-
B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing / B.Sc. Nursing from an institute or university
recognized by the Indian Nursing Council or State Nursing Council OR
-
B.Sc. (Post-Certificate) / Post-Basic B.Sc. Nursing from a recognized
institute or university.

Candidates must also be registered as Nurse and Midwife with the State
Nursing Council or Indian Nursing Council.
Essential Qualification II:
-
Diploma in General Nursing & Midwifery from an institute, board, or
council recognized by the Indian Nursing Council or State Nursing Council.

Candidates must be registered as Nurse and Midwife with the State Nursing
Council or Indian Nursing Council.

In addition, they must have two years of work experience in a hospital with
at least 50 beds after completing the required qualification.
Experience Requirement:

The two years of experience is compulsory. It should be gained only after
completing the course, finishing the required training period, declaring the
result, and registering with the State or Indian Nursing Council.

Salary / Stipend

under the Pay Matrix.
- Earlier Pay
Band-2 of ₹9300–34800 with Grade Pay ₹4600/-.
- Regular
allowances will be provided as per Central Government rules for employees of
similar rank working in the respective cities of the concerned
Institutes/Hospitals.

Selection Procedure
|

- Stage I: NORCET Preliminary Exam (Qualifying in
nature) – 100 multiple choice questions, 90 minutes duration.
- Stage II: NORCET Mains Exam – 160 multiple choice
questions, 180 minutes duration. Merit list will be prepared based on this
stage.
- Negative Marking: 1/3 marks will be deducted for
each wrong answer in both stages.
- Document Verification: Required documents will be
checked, and PwBD candidates will appear before a Medical Board.
- Final Selection: Based on marks obtained in Stage
II, choices filled by candidates, and fulfillment of eligibility criteria as
per the rules of the respective AIIMS institutes.
