RWF Sports Person (Cricket) Recruitment 2026 – Summary
Essential Requirement: Sports candidates must have the required minimum educational qualification for the post on the date of the notification. Candidates who are appearing in the final exam or waiting for final results are not eligible to apply.

Application Charges
Candidates other than the categories listed below must pay an application fee of ₹500.
SC/ST, Ex-servicemen, Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD), Women, Minorities, and Economically Backward Class candidates need to pay ₹250. This amount will be refunded only to those candidates who actually attend the trials.
The examination fee will not be refunded, transferred, or adjusted in any case for candidates who do not appear for the trials.
The fee must be paid only through a crossed Indian Postal Order (IPO) or Demand Draft (DD) obtained from any Post Office or Nationalised Bank. It should be drawn in favour of Principal Financial Adviser (PFA), Rail Wheel Factory, Yelahanka, Bangalore – 560064, and payable at Bangalore.
Payments made through any mode other than IPO or Demand Draft will not be accepted.

Selection Method
Under this recruitment process, all eligible candidates will be invited for document checking and sports trials.
Their recognized sports achievements will be evaluated according to the prescribed rules.
General Guidelines / Instructions
Candidates should note that only the date of birth mentioned in the 10th / Matriculation / Secondary Examination certificate or an equivalent document submitted with the application will be accepted.
Applicants must produce original documents related to educational qualifications, caste, sports achievements, date of birth, minority income certificate, and identity proof such as PAN Card, Aadhaar Card, Driving Licence, etc., on the day of trials or at any stage of the recruitment process.
Failure to do so will result in disqualification from the trials or further selection process.
Only those educational qualifications and sports achievements for which self-attested copies of certificates are enclosed with the application will be considered.
Candidates applying for more than one sport or event must submit separate application forms along with separate examination fees.
Applicants must complete all fields in the application form carefully. Applications submitted without valid proof of age, educational qualification, or sports achievements will be rejected.
The applicant must have the required minimum educational qualification and sports achievements as on the date of application submission.
SC/ST candidates are eligible for free railway travel on producing a self-attested copy of their SC/ST certificate.
Submission of false or forged documents, or providing incorrect information, will lead to cancellation of candidature or termination of service without notice at any stage of recruitment, including after appointment. Such candidates may also face legal action.
Any form of canvassing will result in disqualification.
Candidates must ensure that soft copies of all required documents, including educational and sports certificates, photograph, LTI/RTI, and signature, are uploaded as prescribed. Incomplete applications or applications submitted without required documents or LTI/RTI will be rejected, and no correspondence will be entertained.
Being called for the written test or practical demonstration does not guarantee final selection or appointment.
