Chief Manager – IT Database Admin (Scale IV)

Educational Qualification: 

  • Minimum 60% marks in B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science, IT, Electronics, Electrical & Electronics, or Electronics & Communication 
  • OR MCA/M.Sc. in Computer Science or IT 
  • Institution must be government-recognized/approved by AICTE  

Required Certifications: Oracle Certified Associate and/or Oracle Certified Professional  

Roles & Responsibilities: 

  • Optimize system performance, manage user roles and access 
  • Analyze data warehouse needs and determine required resources 
  • Design metadata for ETL processes 
  • Build logical and physical data models 
  • Develop Data Warehouse, Data Models, OLAP systems, with Oracle PL/SQL experience 
  • Work on replication and high-availability solutions like Data Guard, AlwaysOn, Clustering, and Mirroring  

Experience: 

  • With Bachelor's Degree: At least 7 years in IT/BFSI, including 5 years in databases, data modeling, and Exadata

Chief Manager – Economist (Scale IV) 

Educational Qualification: 

·        Master’s Degree in Economics or Econometrics from a government-recognized or AICTE-approved institute. 

 

  • Preferred:  Candidates with a specialization in monetary economics, financial economics, or statistics will be given preference. 

 

Job Role & Responsibilities: 

  • Monitor and analyze trends in the economy, interest rates, inflation, etc. 
  • Prepare reports on key economic developments and their likely impact on the bank. 
  • Provide inputs for policy-making, business planning, and strategy development. 
  • Assist in risk assessment and financial forecasting using economic models and tools.  

 

Work Experience: 

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in relevant roles such as economic research, data analysis, or policy formulation, preferably in banks, financial institutions, or reputed research organizations.

 

Chief Manager - IT with CISA/CISM/CISSP qualifications (Scale IV) 

Educational Qualification: 

  • Required: B.E./B.Tech in IT/Computer Science/Electronics/Electronics & Instrumentation OR MCA or M.Sc. in Computer Science/IT with at least 60% marks 
  • Institution must be approved/recognized by AICTE or Government bodies 
  • Mandatory Certifications: CISA or CISM or CISSP Preferred Certifications: ISO 27001 Lead Auditor, CEH, CRISC, C-CISO, etc.  

Work Experience: 

  • At least 7 years of experience in IT Information Security within the Banking/BFSI sector or CERT-In empanelled InfoSec firms handling BFSI clients 
  • Out of this, a minimum of 3 years must be in IS Audit or Cyber Security Audit, including audits of Core Banking Systems, Digital Payment platforms, Data Centres/DR Sites, Cloud and Network Security, and Vulnerability Testing 
  • Should be familiar with tools like Nessus, Retina, SAINT, Kali Linux, and other system utilities

Senior Manager – Risk (Scale III)

Educational Qualification: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree with at least 60% marks and a Postgraduate Degree in Statistics, Economics, or Risk Management OR MBA/PGDM in Finance/Banking OR Certification in Financial Risk Management (FRM) from GARP OR Professional Risk Manager (PRM) from PRMIA 

Preferred Certification: 

  • CAIIB or any risk-related certification will be an added advantage.

Job Duties: 

  • Identify, assess, and monitor different types of risks (credit, market, operational, etc.) 
  • Develop and implement risk models and control measures 
  • Assist in framing risk policies and reviewing risk limits 
  • Prepare risk reports and support compliance with regulatory norms 

Experience Required: 

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in banking/financial services, of which at least 3 years should be in a risk management-related role. 

Educational Qualifications: 

Mandatory: Graduate or Postgraduate in any stream from a University/Institution recognized by the Government of India or approved by regulatory authorities. AND 

Must have either: 

  • A Certificate in Financial Risk Management from GARP, OR 
  • A Professional Risk Management Certification from PRMIA, OR 
  • A Master’s Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, or Econometrics with at least 60% overall marks (55% for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD candidates) from a recognized University/Institution.

Work Experience: 

  • Minimum 5 years of total work experience in Scheduled Commercial Banks. 
  • Out of which, at least 2 years should be in the Risk Management department, preferably at the head office or corporate office level. 
  • Must currently be employed in a Scale III position or an equivalent role.

Manager – Legal Officer (Scale II)

Educational Qualification: 

  • A full-time Law degree (3 or 5 years) from a recognized university.

Work Experience: 

  • As of the notification date, candidates must have at least 4 years of professional experience after obtaining the law degree. 
  • This experience can be as a practicing advocate, with a law firm, as a law officer in a Bank/Financial Institution/Government (Central or State), or as a judicial officer. 
  • The mentioned experience can be counted cumulatively.

Manager - Civil Engineer (Scale II) 

Educational Qualification: 

  • B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering from a University/Institution approved by the Government of India or regulatory bodies.

Work Experience: 

  • Minimum 3 years of post-qualification experience in construction/maintenance of multi-storied commercial buildings or institutional structures, preferably in government or public sector organizations.

Senior Manager – Generative AI Developer (Scale III)

Educational Qualification: 

  • Required: B.Tech or MCA with at least 60% marks. 

Roles & Responsibilities: 

  • Analyze data, fine-tune algorithms, and train models to boost accuracy. 
  • Use AI tools to solve business problems. 
  • Build, run, and oversee AI-based systems. 
  • Present AI systems and insights to senior management and stakeholders. 
  • Design frameworks for data intake and transformation. 
  • Identify and fix problems related to generative AI systems. 
  • Maintain proper documentation for generative AI models and their uses.

Work Experience: 

  • At least 5 years of overall experience in Banking or Financial Services, including a minimum of 3 years working with AI—ideally on banking-related projects.

Manager - Legal Officer (Scale II)

Educational Qualification: 

  • A full-time regular law degree (3-year or 5-year course) from a recognized university.

Work Experience: 

  • As of the notification date, candidates must have at least 4 years of professional experience after obtaining the law degree. 
  • Experience can be as a practicing advocate, with a law firm, or as a law officer in a Bank, Financial Institution, or Government (State/Central), or as a judicial officer. 
  • This experience can be a combination of the above roles.

Manager - Civil Engineer (Scale II)

Educational Qualification: 

  • B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering from a recognized university or institution.

Professional Experience: 

  • At least 5 years of hands-on experience in building construction, upkeep, and facility operations. 
  • Should have strong knowledge in cost estimation, tender drafting, overseeing project execution, and verifying work bills.

Manager - Risk (Scale II) 

Educational Qualification: 

  • Required: Graduate or Postgraduate in any field from a University/Institution recognized by the Government of India or approved by relevant regulatory bodies. 
  • And must hold a Certificate in Financial Risk Management from GARP 
  • OR a Professional Risk Management Certification from PRMIA 
  • OR a Master’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, or Econometrics with at least 60% total marks (55% for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD applicants).

Work Experience: 

  • At least 2 years of overall experience in Scheduled Commercial Banks. 
  • Out of this, a minimum of 1 year should be in the Risk Management division, preferably at a head or corporate office. 
  • Candidate should currently be serving in a Scale III position or a comparable role.

Process of Selection

Selection Method: Candidates will be chosen through an online test and/or a personal interview, depending on the number of applicants who qualify. 

Online Exam Details: 

  • English Language: 25 Marks (Qualifying only) 
  • Professional Knowledge: 100 Marks 
  • Total Time: 100 Minutes 

Passing Marks: 

  • General/EWS: 35% in each section 
  • SC/ST/OBC/PWD: 30% in each section (5% relaxation) 

  • Negative Marking: 1/4th of the marks will be deducted for every wrong answer. 

Interview: 

  • Total Marks: 100 
  • Passing Marks for General/EWS: 50 
  • Passing Marks for SC/ST/OBC/PWD: 45 

  • If both exam and interview are held, the score will be combined with an 80:20 ratio (Online Exam: Interview). 
  • Final Selection will be made based on the overall merit list ranked from highest to lowest within each category.

 

How to Apply

Applicants can submit their applications online only between 17.11.2025 and 30.11.2025; no other method of applying will be accepted.

IMPORTANT POINTS TO REMEMBER BEFORE REGISTRATION 

Before applying online, candidates must:

  • Scan their photo, signature, left thumb impression, and handwritten declaration, making sure all meet the required specifications. 
  • Have a valid personal email ID and mobile number, which should remain active until the recruitment process is complete. The Bank may send call letters for exams or interviews to this email. 
  • If a candidate does not have a valid personal email ID, they should create a new email and mobile number before applying online and keep them active. 
  • Keep a valid ID proof ready, such as PAN card, Aadhaar Card, Passport, Driving License, or Voter ID.
  • Upload your photo and signature following the guidelines. 
  • Fill in the remaining parts of the application form. 
  • Use the “Preview” tab to review the entire form before completing the registration. 
  • If needed, edit the details, and only click “COMPLETE REGISTRATION” after confirming all details, including your photo, signature, thumb impression, and handwritten declaration, are correct. 
  • Finally, click the “Payment” tab and complete the payment process. 

APPLICATION FEES & INTIMATION CHARGES (NON-REFUNDABLE): 

  • SC/ST/PWD: Rs. 175/- (Only Intimation Charges) 
  • GENERAL/OTHERS: Rs. 850/- (Application Fee + Intimation Charges) 
  • Candidates must pay any bank transaction charges for online payment of fees.

  •  Click on APPLY ONLINE to open a new page. 
  • For registration, click “Click here for New Registration” and enter your Name, Contact details, and Email ID. 
  • You will receive a Provisional Registration Number and Password on the screen. Note these down. You will also get them via Email and SMS. 
  • If you cannot finish the form in one sitting, you can save your progress by clicking “SAVE AND NEXT.” 
  • Make sure to carefully fill and check your details because after clicking “COMPLETE REGISTRATION,” no changes will be allowed. 
  • Your name and your father’s/husband’s name must be exactly as written on your certificates or ID. Any mismatch may lead to disqualification. 
  • Validate and save your application by clicking “Validate your details and Save Next.”


Basic Guidelines

  • Requests to change your address or any other details provided in the online application form will not be accepted. If there is any disagreement about the meaning of the clauses in any version of this advertisement other than English, the English version on the Bank's website will be the final authority.
  • Candidates must ensure that the signatures they use in all places, such as on their call letter and attendance sheet, as well as in any future communications with the Bank, are consistent and show no differences.
  • The appointment of candidates who are provisionally selected depends on them being found medically fit, meeting any other requirements of the Bank, and following the Bank's service and conduct rules. The Bank's decision will be final and binding.
  • The Bank reserves the right to change, cancel, modify, or add any of the selection criteria or methods at any time without giving a reason. The Bank can also cancel any advertised positions at any stage of the recruitment process without explaining why.

Admit Cards

Candidates can download their call letters from the Bank’s website by entering their Registration Number and Password or Date of Birth. 

No physical copy of the call letter or information handouts will be sent by mail or courier.

Notifications will be sent via email and SMS to the email ID and mobile number provided in the online application. 

The Bank is not responsible for any delay or failure in receiving messages due to changes in mobile number, email address, technical issues, or other reasons beyond the Bank’s control.

Candidates are advised to regularly visit the official Bank website www.bankofindia.co.in for updates and important information and to frequently check their registered email during the recruitment process. 

Security Deposit:

Selected candidates must pay a refundable security deposit after completing 3 years of satisfactory service. If the candidate leaves the Bank before 3 years, the deposit will be forfeited as follows:

Officers in MMGS-II: Rs. 2,00,000/-

Officers in MMGS-III and above: Rs. 3,00,000/-

Step 5: For new users, click on "Click here for New Registration" and enter your Name, Contact details, and Email ID 

Step 6: You will receive a Provisional Registration Number and Password via Email/SMS 

Step 7: Log in using the Registration Number and Password 

Step 8: Carefully fill in all necessary details:

  • Upload scanned photograph (4.5cm x 3.5cm, 20-50 KB, JPG format) 
  • Upload signature (as per given size, 10-20 KB, JPG format)

Step 9: Check the application form preview to confirm all details are correct
