Lower Age Limit:  18 Years Upper Age Limit:  27 Years Relaxation in age is allowed as per the rules.
Pay Scale
Level 7 (Rs. 44,900–1,42,400) under the pay matrix, along with applicable Central Government allowances.  An additional Special Security Allowance of 20% of the basic pay will be provided along with other standard government benefits.  Cash compensation is offered for duties carried out on holidays, up to a maximum of 30 days.
Application Charges
All applicants must pay Recruitment Processing Charges of Rs. 100/-.  Male candidates from UR, EWS, and OBC categories need to pay an additional Examination Fee of Rs. 100/-, making the total Rs. 200/-.

Required Qualifications
Applicants must have secured the qualifying cut-off marks in GATE 2023, 2024, or 2025 in either Electronics & Communication (GATE code: EC) or Computer Science & Information Technology (GATE code: CS) and must also hold one of the following qualifications:  B.E. or B.Tech degree in one of these fields: Electronics, Electronics & Telecommunication, Electronics & Communication, Electrical & Electronics, Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science & Engineering from a recognized Government University/College/Institute. OR  A Master’s degree in Science with specialization in Electronics, Computer Science, or Physics with Electronics/Electronics & Communication OR  A Master’s degree in Computer Applications from a Government approved University/College/Institute.
Process of Selection
Candidates (ten times the total vacancies) will be shortlisted based on their qualifying GATE scores from 2023, 2024, or 2025 and invited for a Skill Test and Interview. Skill Test – This will be practical and technical, aligned with the job role.  Interview – Will evaluate the candidate’s knowledge in the relevant subject and communication abilities. The final merit list will be prepared based on combined performance in the GATE exam, Skill Test, and Interview, considering the available vacancies. A waiting list will also be created to fill future vacancies, following DoPT OM No. 41019/18/97-Estt. (B) dated 13.06.2000. The total marks for the selection process are 1175, distributed as follows:  - GATE Score: 750 marks  - Skill Test: 250 marks  - Interview: 175 marks

pplications must be submitted exclusively through ONLINE registration by visiting the official websites www.mha.gov.in or www.ncs.gov.in No other method of application submission will be allowed.  The online application portal will remain active from 25.10.2025 to 16.11.2025 (up to 11:59 PM).  Any registration done before 25.10.2025 or after 16.11.2025 will not be considered.
