Educational Qualifications:
- Discipline Code 107 - Trade Apprentice (Fitter): Passed Matric and completed a regular full-time 2-year ITI course in Fitter, approved by NCVT/SCVT.
- Discipline Code 108 - Trade Apprentice (Electrician): Passed Matric and completed a regular full-time 2-year ITI course in Electrician, recognized by NCVT/SCVT.
- Discipline Code 109 - Trade Apprentice (Electronics Mechanic): Passed Matric and completed a regular full-time 2-year ITI course in Electronics Mechanic, recognized by NCVT/SCVT.
- Discipline Code 110 - Trade Apprentice (Instrument Mechanic): Passed Matric and completed a regular full-time 2-year ITI course in Instrument Mechanic, approved by NCVT/SCVT.

Must also have a Skill Certificate in 'Domestic Data Entry Operator' (training less than 1 year) issued by an authority recognized under the National Skill Qualifications Framework or by the Central Government.
Mandatory Requirements:
- The required qualification must be obtained through a full-time regular course from a recognized University or Institute in the relevant field.
- Qualifications gained through part-time, correspondence, or distance education will make the candidate ineligible.
- For Graduate and Technician Apprentice positions, only candidates who completed their qualifications between 01.04.2022 and 31.12.2025 will be considered eligible.
- For Trade Apprentice (ITI/Data Entry Operator) roles, only candidates who obtained the required qualification between 01.04.2021 and 31.12.2025 will be considered eligible.
- Candidates with higher professional degrees such as B.E./B.Tech., MBA, MCA, CA, ICWA, LLB or similar, or those pursuing and completing such qualifications before joining the apprenticeship, are not eligible.
- If CGPA/OGPA or Letter Grade is mentioned, its equivalent percentage of marks must be provided in the Online Application as per the rules of the respective Board/University/Institute.
- Candidates with a Diploma in Engineering acquired through a recognized lateral entry scheme in the relevant trade/discipline will also be considered eligible, if they meet the required percentage criteria.
Conditions for Previous Apprenticeship Training:
- A candidate can undergo a maximum of two apprenticeship trainings, but the second training must be in a different trade.
- There must be a minimum gap of one year between the two trainings, only if the first one was completed.
- No gap is needed if the previous training ended because the employer terminated it.
- If a candidate ended their earlier training due to reasons like health issues, financial difficulties, relocation, transport problems, career change, or language challenges, a three-month waiting period is required before starting a new apprenticeship with the same or a different employer.
- However, no waiting period applies in such cases for female candidates.
Pay/Monthly Stipend
- Monthly stipend for apprentices will be paid as per the rates mentioned in the Apprentices Act, 1961/1973 and Apprenticeship Rules 1992/2019/2025, as updated from time to time.
- The exact amount of stipend will be informed at the time of joining.
- Stipend will be provided every month during the apprenticeship training period.
Age Criteria (as of 31-12-2025)
- Minimum age required: 18 years
- Maximum age allowed: 24 years
- Relaxation in upper age limit:
- SC/ST: 5 years (up to 29 years)
- OBC-NCL: 3 years (up to 27 years)
- PwBD: 10 years (up to 34 years)
- PwBD (SC/ST): 15 years (up to 39 years)
- PwBD (OBC-NCL): 13 years (up to 37 years)

Process of Selection
- Applicants must complete registration on the NAPS/NATS portal and apply under the respective notification to be considered for the selection process.
- No written exam or interview will be conducted.
- Selection will be based purely on merit: A list will be created for each post based on the percentage of marks obtained in the required qualification.
- Shortlisted candidates will be invited for document verification.
- They must also undergo and pass the pre-engagement medical fitness test as per IndianOil’s prescribed format.
- Candidates are advised to ensure they meet the medical standards before applying.
- Those whose documents and medical reports are found satisfactory will receive an offer for apprenticeship training.
- Any unfilled positions after the initial selection may be offered to other eligible candidates from the same merit panel.

- Once registered, candidates must log in using their User ID or Email ID and apply for openings using the following Establishment IDs:

Applicants must make sure their profile (personal info, education, category, etc.) and aggregate percentage are correctly shown in their application.
Note:
- Each candidate should apply for only one discipline code. Multiple applications will be rejected.
- Selection will be provisional and based on document verification.
- Final engagement depends on medical fitness as per IOCL’s standards.
- Management’s decision on eligibility and selection will be final.
- Incomplete or ineligible applications will be marked as "Rejected".
- Completion of apprenticeship does not guarantee a job with IOCL.

Step 3: Apply for the apprenticeship opportunities with Indian Oil Corporation Ltd. (Marketing Division) - Eastern Region using the relevant Establishment ID:

Step 4: Make sure that your profile (Personal Information, Academic Details, Category, Total Marks, etc.) is filled correctly in the application.
