Required
Qualification:
- Passed Matric
with +2 vocational course in an agriculture-related subject, OR
- Matric along
with two years of relevant field experience, OR
- Matric with ITI
certificate.
Preferred
Qualification:
- Certificate in
handling agricultural machinery from a recognized institution.
- Experience in
using tractors, power tillers, and other farm equipment.
- Work experience
in farm operations or lab assistance at recognized organizations or
government institutes.
- Understanding of
the local language, preferably Odia or Hindi.

How Candidates Are Selected
|
|
- The selection
will be through a walk-in interview including a written and personal
interview.
- If many
candidates attend, a screening test might be held to shortlist them for the
interview.
- The institute
may also organize a skill test on operating
agricultural farm machinery.

Basic Information / Guidelines
|
|
- The above
position(s) are purely temporary and will end with the completion of the
scheme/project. The appointed candidate's service will automatically end once
the scheme/project expires or the specified period in the selection offer
ends, whichever comes first. The candidate will have no claim for permanent
employment in CRRI/ICAR. Age limits may be relaxed for SC, ST,
and OBC candidates as per Government of India rules.
- Interested and
eligible candidates should bring one recent passport-size photo, original
educational certificates (from matriculation onwards) with photocopies, and
experience certificates related to the subject (as per the advertisement) to
attend the walk-in interview, which includes a written and personal interview
on the given date, time, and place. Candidates must download and fill out the
biodata form from the website and submit it along with the certificate copies
during verification.
- The Director of
ICAR-CRRI reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of vacancies
or cancel the recruitment process. The Director’s decision will be final in
all matters.
- If many
candidates appear for the walk-in interview, a screening test may be held to
shortlist candidates for the interview.
- A skill test on
agricultural farm machinery operation may be conducted by the Institute.
- No travel
allowance (TA) or daily allowance (DA) will be provided for attending the
interview.
- Any form of
bribery or influence will disqualify the candidate.
- If currently
employed, candidates must provide a no-objection certificate from their
current employer to attend the interview.
- Candidates will
not be allowed to enter after 10:00 a.m. sharp.
