Eligibility Requirements |
For Telecom Operations:
Candidates must have a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) or Bachelor of Technology (BTech) degree, or an equivalent engineering qualification, with at least 60% marks in regular full-time study. The degree should be in one of the following subjects or a combination of these as the main discipline with related emerging branches:
- Electronics and Telecommunication
- Electronics
- Computer Science
- Information Technology
- Electrical
- Instrumentation
For Finance:
Candidates must hold either of the following qualifications:
- Chartered Accountant (CA)
- Cost and Management Accountant (CMA)
Applicants for Senior Executive Trainee (Direct Recruitment) must be Indian citizens. They should have completed the required qualification from an Indian university or institute established by Central or State Government law, an institute set up by an Act of Parliament, or a university declared as deemed under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956. The qualification must be completed on or before the last date of application. If the degree is awarded using CGPA/OGPA/CPI/DGPA or a grading system, candidates must convert it into an equivalent percentage as per the rules of the concerned university or institute. Recruitment Procedure |
- Computer-Based Test (CBT) with Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), including sections on Aptitude and Technical Knowledge.
- Marks will be normalized if the exam is conducted in multiple sessions.
- Document verification for candidates who qualify in the merit list.
- Candidates must pass the company’s medical examination as per the required standards.
- Final merit list will be prepared based on total marks (Part-I & Part-II) after meeting the minimum qualifying marks: 40% in each part and 50% overall for General category; 35% in each part and 45% overall for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD/EWS categories.

- Only Indian citizens can apply.

- Candidates must sign a bond of ₹9 Lakhs to serve BSNL for a minimum of 5 years.

- Negative marking applies: +1 for each correct answer, -0.25 for each wrong answer.
