Nationality
- The candidate must be an Indian citizen, or a subject of Nepal or Bhutan, or a Tibetan refugee who came to India before 01 January 1962, or a person of Indian origin from certain specified countries. In some cases, the candidate must have an eligibility certificate issued by the Government of India.

Educational Qualification (as on 01 March 2026)
- Candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree (Graduate) from a recognized university.
- The university or institute must be approved by the Government or government bodies such as All India Council for Technical Education or University Grants Commission.
- Only a diploma course will not be accepted for this recruitment.
- Candidates must have valid semester-wise or consolidated mark sheets and a degree or provisional degree certificate issued on or before 01 March 2026.
