Odisha Staff Selection Commission (OSSC) Recruitment 2026 invites online applications for 124Group B and Group C vacancies. Candidates holding B.Com or B.Sc degrees are eligible to apply on the OSSC website, ossc.gov.in.
The Odisha Staff Selection Commission (OSSC) has released the notification for Amin, Junior Fisheries Extension Assistant, and Junior Forensic Assistant posts under OSSC Higher Secondary Recruitment 2025 on 03 September 2025 on its official website www.ossc.gov.in. A total of 124 vacancies have been announced through this recruitment.
Candidates who are 21 to 42 years old (as on 01 January 2025) are eligible to apply. Applicants must have passed +2 (Arts/Science/Commerce) with a Computer Application certificate for the Amin post, Vocational Training in Fisheries or +2 Science for the Junior Fisheries Extension Assistant post, and +2 Science for the Junior Forensic Assistant post.

Eligibility Requirements
Educational Qualification:
Amin (under EIC – Water Resources):
Candidates must have passed +2 in Arts, Science, or Commerce or an equivalent qualification, along with a basic Computer Application certificate.
Junior Fisheries Extension Assistant:
Applicants should have Vocational Training in Fisheries from CHSE or a recognized University and must know how to swim well. If Vocational (Fisheries) is not available, candidates with +2 Science qualification will be considered.
Junior Forensic Assistant:
Candidates must have completed +2 Science from a recognized Board or Institution.
Age Requirement (Calculated on 01.01.2025)
Minimum Age: 21 Years
Maximum Age: 42 Years
Age Relaxation: Age relaxation will be given to SC, ST, SEBC, Women, Ex-servicemen, and PwD candidates according to the government rules.
Salary Information
For all posts such as Amin, Junior Fisheries Extension Assistant, and Junior Forensic Assistant, the salary will be Level-3, Cell-1 according to ORSP Rules 2017.
