Bank JAM Grade O Eligibility Criteria 2026
|
Nationality / Citizenship
The candidate
must be one of the following:
- A subject of Nepal or Bhutan, or
- A Tibetan refugee who came to India before 01 January 1962, or
- A person of Indian origin who migrated from
specified countries. In such cases, the candidate must have an eligibility certificate issued by the Government of India,
if required.
Educational
Qualification (as on 01 March 2026)
- The candidate
must have a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
from a recognized university
approved by the Government or government bodies such as AICTE or UGC.
- Candidates must
have at least 60% marks for General/EWS/OBC categories and 55% marks for SC/ST/PwBD
categories.
- Diploma courses alone are not valid; candidates
must have a complete degree.
- Candidates must
have valid semester-wise or consolidated mark
sheets and a degree or provisional degree
certificate issued on or before 01 March 2026.
- Applicants
should also have basic knowledge of computers or IT.
Age Limit

- Candidates
should be born between 02 March 2001 and 01 March 2006
(both dates included).

Age relaxation
is available for certain categories:
- OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): Up to 3 years
- Ex-Servicemen / ECOs / SSCOs with at least 5 years of military service and released under
eligible conditions: Up to 5 years
- Persons affected by the 1984 riots: Up to 5 years
Language
Proficiency & Domicile
- Candidates must
be able to read, write, and understand at least one
of the local languages of the selected zone.

After joining as Grade “O”, the Cost to Company (CTC) is expected to be around ₹6.14 lakh to ₹6.50 lakh per year for Class A cities at the time of appointment.
- Selected
candidates will be included under the New Pension Scheme of IDBI Bank Ltd.
(IBLNPS), 2011, which may be updated from time to time.
- Career Growth: Officers appointed as Grade
“O” can be considered for promotion to Grade
“A” after completing 3 years of service,
depending on their performance, available vacancies, and
the bank’s promotion rules.
