Application Procedure

  • Only Indian citizens can apply.

  • Each candidate must submit only one application for the number of posts they wish to apply for. There will be a drop-down menu for all the posts listed in the notification, and candidates need to choose the posts they want to apply for. If a candidate chooses more than one post, they must pay the required fee separately for each one. However, candidates applying for PGTs must choose only one subject/post, even if they qualify for more than one subject. The same applies to TGTs; candidates must select only one subject/post regardless of their qualifications.
  • If a candidate submits separate applications for different posts, they might be assigned different exam centers or cities. CBSE or KVS/NVS will not be responsible for this, and requests for the same exam center or city will not be considered for any reason.
  • If multiple applications from the same candidate are discovered later for a post, those applications may be canceled, and their fees will not be refunded.
  • Candidates must have a valid personal email ID and mobile number. They should not share their email ID or login information with anyone. Both the email ID and mobile number should remain active throughout the recruitment process to receive important messages from CBSE/KVS/NVS. If a candidate does not have a valid personal email ID, they should create one before applying online.

  • Candidates will need to register on the application portal and create their login ID and password before filling out the online application form. It is important to remember these details for future use and keep them secure.
  • Candidates should fill out the online application form carefully. They need to scan and upload their recent photograph and signature in the correct places as instructed in the online application form and submit it online. Changes cannot be made once the online application is submitted. If there are any discrepancies between the information provided in the online application and the original documents, the candidate's application may be rejected.

  • The candidate's name, date of birth, and parents’ names should be written correctly as they appear in class X certificates or mark sheets. When filling out the online application, candidates should ensure their details, including their name, father’s/mother’s name, date of birth, caste, and gender, are correct. After the exam or during the interview, requests to change these details, especially regarding category or sub-category, will not be accepted by CBSE, KVS, or NVS.
