Guidelines
- Carefully read the exam notice in both Hindi and English; if there’s any conflict, the English version will be considered final.
- Complete and submit the online application before the deadline to avoid technical problems due to heavy traffic.
- Candidates who haven’t completed One-Time Registration (OTR) on the new SSC site (ssc.gov.in) must do so, as OTRs from the old site (ssc.nic.in) are not valid.
- After registering with the new OTR, candidates can proceed to fill out the online form. This OTR will also be valid for upcoming exams on the new website.
- Since documents will be checked during the DME by CAPFs, all applications are considered provisional. Any mismatch between eligibility claims and submitted documents will lead to cancellation.
- Candidates applying under reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC/EWS/ESM, etc.) must ensure they meet the criteria and have valid documents in the required format.
- SC/ST/OBC candidates who move to a different state must choose either to claim reservation from their original state or apply as unreserved from their current state. This decision cannot be changed afterward.
- Those choosing reservation from their origin state must provide details of both current and original domicile and show a valid caste certificate issued by the original state.
